Clare has worked in the further education sector for almost 30 years, spending the last 14 years at firstly Wakefield College and then Heart of Yorkshire Education Group leading on Student Experience and Support. 

Clare is also the Chair of the Youth Association Board of Trustees and Club Safeguarding Officer at a community based netball club.
