Judith Kidder

Learning and learners have been at the heart of Judith’s professional life as a teacher. As a teacher educator for over 25 years, Judith has been committed to learning and working collaboratively in developing effective, engaged, thoughtful and research informed teaching, learning and assessment.

Originally an English teacher, she moved into staff development and teacher education in FE, prior to becoming a full-time lecturer at the University of Huddersfield for over 15 years. Her main teaching focus there was the Cert Ed/PGCE for the Lifelong Learning/FE sector, becoming Course Leader as well as developing and teaching on the Skills for Life specialist teacher initiatives, before retiring from full- time teaching in 2018. She continued teaching on a part time basis in both HE and FE until her recent full retirement.
