Julie Lawson

Julie is a Chartered Manager with extensive operational leadership experience across both the private and education sectors. Her early career was spent in fast‑paced commercial environments, where she led service delivery and business operations across complex, high‑demand settings.

Working within the education sector, Julie has held senior strategic roles within large, multisite organisations. Her work has spanned governance compliance, health and safety, risk management, organisational strategy, and the delivery of major capital and estates programmes. She has a strong track record of building resilient systems, strengthening accountability, and enabling trusts to operate effectively at scale.

Julie is a Consultant, supporting schools, academies and trusts to strengthen compliance, design operating models, and build assurance structures aligned with the DfE Education Estates Strategy. She also holds a water‑literate accredited credential, enabling her to lead organisational change in water efficiency and sustainability.
