Neil Hardwick

Neil lives in Wakefield and is currently the Director of Finance for Bradford Children’s & Families Trust where he has worked since 2024. Prior to this he has had a long career in public finance starting in 1989 with Wakefield Council and then Rotherham Council for six years from 2018.

Neil finance career has predominantly been with children’s services which covers social care and education, but has also worked in housing and adult’s social care. He has a passion for ensuring best value is achieved in the use of public funds to ensure children and families receive excellent provision.

Outside of work Neil has always supported local communities, a school governor and also being a committee member and manager of local junior football clubs and in his spare time enjoys playing golf, watching football and travelling.
