Tim Welton

Tim has strong roots in the Wakefield district, having been educated locally before studying at the University of Liverpool. He has built a successful career in the legal profession and is now a Partner at Williams & Co Solicitors, bringing extensive legal experience across a range of disciplines.

Alongside his professional career, Tim has a longstanding commitment to supporting organisations across the local community. He has served as a trustee and non-executive director of several charities in the Wakefield area. Through these roles, he has developed significant experience of strategic leadership, organisational oversight and stakeholder engagement.

As a Governor, Tim is passionate about supporting opportunities for learners and helping ensure the Group continues to play a positive role in the economic and social development of the region.

Outside of work, Tim is actively involved in charitable activities, enjoys a wide range of sports and lives in the Wakefield district with his wife and three children.
