Business Systems Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our fantastic Business Systems team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group.

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our Business Systems team. This role is key to ensuring that the Group’s systems remain reliable, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Working under the direction of the Head of Business Systems, you will play an important part in delivering the Group’s Business System Strategy. You will bring together technical expertise and business process knowledge to support, develop, and enhance a wide range of systems and applications.

This is a varied and dynamic role, combining system support, development, training, and project management responsibilities, while working collaboratively across the organisation to improve how technology supports teaching, learning, and business operations.

You will:

  •         Support, administer, and develop a variety of Group business systems and applications to meet evolving business requirements
  •         Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and other workflow solutions
  •         Develop modern reporting and analytics technologies (e.g., Power BI) using business system data, tailored to stakeholder needs
  •         Support and project manage the implementation of new systems where required
  •         Develop and maintain integrations between systems using APIs, web services, and data connectors, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient exchange of data between platforms.
