What You Will Study
This qualification is designed for technicians who maintain and repair electric/hybrid high voltage vehicle systems and components.
It contains the knowledge and skills required to work on live high voltage vehicle electrical components and associated systems.
- Attendance Expectations
Day courses will typically be 9.00am – 5.00am.
Any online assessments will be carried out during the afternoon of the second day.Evening courses will be 5.00pm-9.00pm.
These are spread over five evenings, over a two-week period, with any exams completed on the fifth evening. - How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through oral questions, written and practical assessments. With the written assessment being an essay, minimum words of 1000.
- Entry Requirements
The unit can only be undertaken after successful completion of Unit EV3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement and a recommended minimum of six months, or by completing the Learner Eligibility form providing evidence of related/relevant experience.
