What You Will Study
The Level 5 Higher National Diploma consists of the Level 4 Higher National Certificate (above) plus an additional 120 credits at Level 5 delivered via Module B Professional Creative Practice.

- How You Will Be Assessed
Assessment is ongoing and each module will be formally assessed via the coursework and portfolio produced. This will include initial ideas, development work and sampling, research, reflective journal and finished pieces of work.
Assessments may also take a variety of forms including practical tasks, group work, formal presentations, written assignments. It is crucial that you develop your peer assessment and take part in regular group critiques in order to develop your critical awareness and confidence.

HNC Fine Art.
All applicants are required to attend an interview, you will also need to bring with you a portfolio of your work. A member of the course team to discuss your reasons for applying and your career plan.

- Further Study
On successful completion of the HND, you will have the opportunity to progress to a top-up course to gain a full BA (Hons) degree at university. Other students may progress to employment, set up their own enterprise or continue to study a teaching qualification.
