Our Sixth Form gives you the flexibility to build a study programme that works for you. You can mix A Levels with other options like V Levels and AAQs, so you’re not stuck choosing just one route.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Levels are the traditional academic route to university, focusing on theoretical study. Throughout the two years, you’ll complete assessments and mock exams to track progress and build confidence for your final exams.

AAQs are advanced qualifications designed to give learners the best of both worlds - the academic rigour of A Levels with the practical application of vocational study.

Equivalent in size and level to one A Level.
Can be studied alongside other A Levels.
Blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in a specific vocational area.
Carry UCAS points, opening doors to higher education.
Equip learners with the knowledge, skills and attributes needed for future employment.

V Levels are two-year qualifications, similar to A Levels. They offer a more practical route to study and will be available to be taken alongside A Levels within a mix-and-match model. V Levels will be assessed by:

Coursework/assignments
Practical or applied assessments
