AAT Level 4 Diploma for Professional Accounting Technicians Blended Learning
Course Overview
Ready to take the final step and become a fully qualified accounting professional? The AAT Level 4 Diploma is the highest level of AAT training. This course is all about moving you past basic calculations and turning you into a strategic decision-maker who can analyse data, manage risk, and advise business leaders.
What You Will Study

- Financial Accounting
- Management Accounting
- Audit and Internal Controls
- Principles of Taxation
- Advanced Business Awareness
Delivered via blended learning, this course offers the flexibility to study at your own pace through our online portal, combined with the structure of weekly live lessons on MS Teams.
There is an end of unit externally assessed exam.
This is an advanced course, so you'll need a solid foundation to get started. Most students join this course after passing the AAT Level 3 Diploma.

From January 2027, the AAT Level 4 can be funded through the Lifelong Learning Entitlement. Student finance if your course starts on or after 1 January 2027: Overview - GOV.UK
It allows you to apply for Full AAT Membership (MAAT), giving you letters after your name that employers respect worldwide. It also gives you a huge head start (with fast-track exemptions) if you choose to study chartered accounting next, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW.
