Course Overview

Alternative Academic Qualifications (AAQs) offer both theoretical and practical learning, they perfectly complement A Levels as a part of a mixed programme of learning, helping to bring more theoretical learning to life.

  • Physical Education and Sport

This qualification can lead to progression to the following degrees:

  • BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult Health/Child Health/Mental Health)
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

I decided to study at Wakefield College because they offered the A Levels I needed whilst also giving me the independence and freedom that I wouldn’t get elsewhere.
