Student Wiktoria with staff members celebrating her results

"After achieving Distinction Stars in my Level 3 Electrical Installation course, I am going to be an Overhead Lines-Person and Sub-Station Fitter Apprenticeship at international electricity company, Omexom. One day, I'd love to work my way up to become an Electrical Engineer.

"I've really enjoyed my time at College and like both the theory and practical sides of my course. It has given me the skills to progress to an apprenticeship, especially through my work placement with Vico Homes (formerly WDH) where I got to shadow professionals on-site.

"The College and my tutors have given me a sufficient amount of support such as providing progress tests, extra material and bursaries. I also had the opportunity to be a Student Governor where I would attend meetings with the Board of Governors to represent the students of the College.

"My advice for beginners in Construction with no experience is to do some research yourself before you start so things are easier to understand once you're at College."
