“I have put a lot of hard work into graduating with a BSc (Hons) Sports, Exercise and Health Sciences but having the support and knowledge from my tutors has made my journey a lot easier.

As my course is centred around teamwork and collaboration, I have grown in confidence when working with people of different ages. I have had the opportunity to teach young people as well as the elderly – this has given me many transferrable skills like communication, multi-tasking and adaptability.

My dream job is to work within a sports team. I would love to mentor and motivate others. My time at the University Centre at Selby College has given me the skills that I can take forward with me into my chosen career.”
