I chose Selby College because it offered the subjects I enjoy and a great mix of courses to help me reach my career goals. I’ve really enjoyed the balance of practical and theory - practicals are fun and the theory is interesting. I also love the independence of college, from managing my own time to studying in my own way. The support from tutors has been excellent and I’ve gained confidence, coaching skills and experience speaking in presentations. I’ve also tried new things like lacrosse - there’s always something new to learn.
