“I chose Selby College after hearing great feedback and being inspired by my family’s background in hair and beauty. I’ve really enjoyed learning practical skills like facials, manicures, gel polish and make-up. The course has helped me build confidence, improve my communication with clients and develop time management and organisational skills.

Some highlights include a glitter nail demo by Dennis Williams, sessions with a professional make-up artist, and a Dermalogica workshop. After completing my course, I hope to open my own salon offering make-up, nails and a range of beauty treatments.”
