I love studying Engineering at College because you get to build things and be hands-on and active which I prefer to being in a classroom. 

So far, I’ve built a drill drift and hammer and I’m working on more projects now. The best thing about studying Engineering at Castleford College is that we all work as a team and help each other improve. 

I want to continue to study Engineering at university and one day become an Engineering Teacher. 

My advice to other girls wanting to get into Engineering is to just do it. Don’t be shy, be confident. It might be scary at first being the only girl in a male-dominated industry but they will respect you and help you as well. The best bit about Engineering is that we all help each other.
