"I studied the Preparation for Work course at Wakefield because it was the best choice for me to meet new people, experience new things and gain new skills.

I’ve really enjoyed the social nature of the course; I’ve had lots of fun with my course mates and have enjoyed activities such as baking in the kitchen.

My tutors James and Niari have been really helpful throughout my course, and I’ve learned how to be more respectful, more mature and more independent.

After my course I plan to get a full-time job. I’m really interested in cars, so I’d like to work for a company doing valeting or car detailing."
