“I have progressed through the University Centre at Selby College. I started studying a HNC in Photography and I have now achieved BA (Hons) Art and Design (Art Practice). It’s a great environment, especially since I became so familiar with the facilities and equipment.

Over the past three years, I have been given the freedom to push myself creatively as my tutors always expressed the importance of trying new things. They encouraged me to explore any pathways that were of interest and because of this, I found a genuine interest in film photography. I am now confident enough to shoot and develop photos independently.

For my next steps, I will be working as an Art Technician at Selby College. I am looking forward to being able to work within the art department as well as assisting students.”
