“I have progressed from Level 3 all the way through to BA (Hons) Art and Design (Art Practice) at Selby College. It has been great to broaden my skill set by studying different themes every year.

My course has given me a lot of confidence, and I have grown as an individual. I can express myself freely through my artwork and have learned how to demonstrate my way of thinking to others. This is an important quality that will benefit me in the workplace.

My tutors have been lovely throughout – they have given me advice as well as their personal insights. They have backed me up, making sure that I have self-belief when it comes to my work. The course has been so enjoyable because of their knowledge.

In the future, I would love to get into professional photography. My goal is to shoot editorially for magazines. My five years at Selby College have given me the tools to go down whichever avenue I choose.”
