What I enjoy most about my course is the hands-on nature of it. It allowed me to complete my CSCS test and I really like being out on construction sites, seeing how everything works in a real environment. That’s why I’m really glad I chose the apprenticeship route – it allows me to work hard whilst learning practical skills on the job.

Through the course, I’ve developed important skills such as working in a construction environment, which has taught me discipline and good time management. I’ve also learned how to price jobs and communicate professionally with businesses and site leaders, which has been really valuable. These are skills I’m already using outside of the classroom and will continue to build on in my career.
