“Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to help people. That’s why I chose the Level 3 Uniformed Public Services course at Wakefield College as I knew it would help me get a step closer to my dream job as a Detective.

One of the highlights of my course was the residential trip where we made rafts, went hiking, caving and most importantly, built on our teamwork skills. I’ve built a range of skills during my time at Wakefield College, from communication, leadership, collaboration and public speaking – which will help me when I go on to study Criminology at Manchester Metropolitan University.”
