“I enjoyed the diversity of topics I learned about on this course, and I have developed skills such as referencing, writing, and academic research, which have set me up well for studying Psychology at Leeds Trinity University. After my degree I hope to study a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Development and Disorders and to become an Educational Psychologist.

I chose Selby College because it has a high success rate and teaching standard, and because it is close to home. My tutors always gave me one-to-one support and answered any questions that I had. I'm very proud of myself for achieving a triple distinction star.

During my course I also had the opportunity to run a mental health workshop for first year students, which was really rewarding.

My advice to future students would be that you get out what you put in at College, so work hard and ask for help when you need it.”
