"I progressed from studying the Level 3 Musical Theatre course to the HNC Musical Theatre course at Wakefield College. 

I love learning in the Mechanics’ Theatre because it’s our own building and a nice environment. My favourite part of the year are the big shows we perform at the end of the year to a live audience in the theatre – this year we’re doing ‘Sister Act’. Throughout the course, I’ve improved a lot as a performer thanks to the 1:1 support I get from my tutors and I’m now more confident and independent. 

In the future, I’d love to have a career in performing such as for Les Mis but I’d also like to go into teaching one day, too."
