I’m also looking forward to seeing what our students going to achieve beyond college, with some pursuing careers or further study at university or at our University Centre.”

Students then received awards from their tutors, recognising their accomplishments in English, Maths, Employability and more.

Sam Wright, Prinicpal and Chief Executive at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, said: “We always look forward to celebrating our students and their achievements at our annual award ceremonies. It’s incredibly inspiring to see our students progress throughout the year – whether that’s overcoming barriers they faced, learning something new or showing enthusiasm and commitment to their studies. I hope all our students are proud of themselves and their achievements, as I know we are at the Group.”
