Based across Wakefield College, Castleford College and Selby College, the University Centre at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group has achieved another set of highly positive NSS results this year - surpassing national benchmarks with an average positivity score of 91%.
With more than 92% of eligible students completing the survey, the score reflects a widely held view amongst all learners.

The highest scoring category saw 94% of students rate the University Centre’s academic support positively, exceeding the national average by almost 5%.
Additionally, the percentage of students that were positive about the teaching quality on their course was 5% higher than national benchmarks.

Student support is at the heart of everything we do, and our staff are dedicated to creating an environment where learners can thrive - so it’s amazing to see this reflected in the results.”
The NSS surveys university students across the country on their higher education experience at their institution, with this year’s survey receiving over 360,000 responses.
