Students opening results.

GCSE Results Day is approaching, so here is what you need to know including what to expect on the day and what support is available.

On the Day

You can collect your GCSE exam results early between 8:30am-12pm from your College or you can wait for them to be emailed to you from 12pm the same day. 

You will need to bring with you your College ID or other photo ID to show proof of identity in order to collect your results in person.

Exams Team

The Exams Team will be available on the day, either on campus or via phone and email, to provide any results information you may need. If you would like to discuss your results or explore your next steps, your tutors will be on hand to offer guidance, advice and support.

FAQs

Students who re-sat either their Maths or English GCSE exams this academic year. 

Students can collect their results from College from 8.30am until 12pm.

  • Castleford College: Reception
  • Selby College: Jubilee Building
  • Wakefield College: Seacole Building

Results will be sent to both personal and college email addresses.

Results are being sent out from Thursday 20th August from 12pm onwards. If you haven't received anything by 1pm, please email Exams@HeartofYorkshire.ac.uk and we can look into this for you.
