Apprentice L3 HGV Mechanic

ALLTRUX MIXERS LTD

This is a hands on, garage based role working alongside current, skilled employees. You will be assisting with daily tasks on all vehicles and learning on the job. You will day release once a week to attend Castleford College. 

Full training will be provided to ensure all elements of the Apprenticeship are covered.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working alongside skilled technicians, assisting with repairs and maintenance
  • Learning and assisting on every aspect of the job and Inspection Services 
  • General cleaning of the garage, following the correct Health and Safety procedures
  • Steam clean and preparation of vehicles for MOT inspections

  • The candidate must be eager to learn, punctual, not afraid of hard work and getting their hands dirty

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion there may be the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff within the organisation as a Qualified HGV Mechanic.
