This unit is designed for those people who may not have achieved the required grades in Maths and English, however still wishing to learn about the automotive industry. This is a multi-skilled course getting introduction to light vehicles, body and paint techniques and also being introduced to motorbikes.

What You Will Study

A mixture of workshop and theory sessions as well as working towards achieving Maths and English.

  • Steering and Suspension
  • Body Repair
  • Brakes
  • Electrics
  • Motorcycle Maintenance
  • How You Will Be Assessed

    You will be assessed through practical tasks in the workshops and completion of portfolio work and end of unit exams.

  • Entry Requirements

    GCSEs at Grade 9-2 in English and Maths.

  • Further Study

    On successful completion and with the required English and Maths grades you can progress through the levels.
