Course Overview

The course is a study programme for learners who do not speak English as their first language.

What You Will Study

You will improve English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. You will also study maths, digital skills, and focus on employability. You will be taught in a classroom at college. You will have one teacher who will support and guide you.
  • Attendance Expectations

    Lessons are 2.5-3.5 hours for each course

    Lessons will take place Monday to Friday dependent on the course.

    You must attend all sessions.

  • How You Will Be Assessed

    You will be assessed by in class examinations.

  • Entry Requirements

    You do not need any qualifications to apply.

    You will complete an initial assessment.

  • Fee Information

    Dependent on your circumstances the course may be free.

    Additional costs may include materials, equipment, visits, and residentials, which are payable by all students.

    All learners registered with an Awarding Body who has been given free entry and subsequently withdraws or is withdrawn by a tutor will incur the certification fee associated with the course.
