Course Overview

This qualification is designed for learners interested in using counselling skills as part of their functional role in a wide range of sector areas or looking to progress towards accredited counsellor status with one of the counselling professional accrediting bodies.

This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor.

This qualification aims to:

    This is an online course, where you will access the course materials and assessments. You can contact your course tutor directly through the platform and arrange 1:1 support.

  • How You Will Be Assessed

    Throughout the course you will be assessed through a range of different assessment methods including:

    Written questions Reflective journals Video recordings of your skills practice sessions.

  • Entry Requirements

    To study this course, you must have completed a level 2 certificate in counselling

  • Fee Information

    There is funding available for this course, subject to previous qualifications and postcode.

  • Further Study

    Upon completing this course, you could progress to Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or to a degree.
