Since the tutors knew me so well, they knew how far to push me to make me produce my best work. I also loved hearing their different perspectives which strengthened my own artistic process.
Alongside my tutors, the facilities at Selby College were ideal for my course. We had an amazing studio space where I had creative freedom, surrounded by like-minded people on my course who I could gain inspiration from.
Having such a small cohort, it meant that we all knew each other really well and I had an invaluable support system throughout my course.
My degree has helped me to progress to a PGCE course where I am working towards my dream job as an Art Teacher in secondary schools.”
