“I am currently studying Level 3 Travel & Tourism with the aim of working in the travel industry. Once I visited Selby College’s Open Event, I knew that their course was the perfect combination of coursework and transferable skills. My confidence has grown along with my teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. During my course, I have had so many great experiences; a personal highlight was when we had the opportunity to do Cabin Crew training. We were given training sessions, shown how to remain calm in an emergency, and we even served food and refreshments from the catering trolley! Alongside this experience, we have had several industry experts come in to speak to us about the range of career paths available. This has helped me to gain further clarity and to feel supported when it comes to my future options.”
