“I’m now going on to study Construction Project Management at Huddersfield University. My ultimate ambition is to become a Project Manager and eventually run my own construction company. During my time at Wakefield College, I enjoyed the site visits, employer talks and the people I got to meet, as well as the incredible support from my professors. I chose this course because I’d been interested in construction design since high school and I knew Wakefield College would be the place for me.Through the course, I developed skills such as assertiveness, organisation, competence and planning – all of which have prepared me for the next steps in my journey. The level of support I received from the College and my tutors was very high and genuinely helpful.”
